EQUINE REHAB CERTIFICATION TRAINING
MAY 15-17, 2026
Comprehensive equine recovery education covering nervous system regulation, fascia, movement, circulation, and device-based recovery designed for real-world application in barns, rehab facilities, and show environments.
Equine Recovery Training
Students will gain hands-on experience operating the following equine recovery devices & protocols
-
Shockwave therapy is commonly used by veterinarians, equine therapists, and trainers to address musculoskeletal conditions and injuries involving ligaments and tendons. This therapy can help stimulate healing, reduce discomfort, and support a faster return to training or competition. Many performance barns and rehabilitation programs also incorporate shockwave as part of routine recovery care for high-level equine athletes.
-
The Tri-Wave laser uses three pulsed wavelengths to stimulate tissue repair while helping reduce pain and inflammation. Widely used by veterinarians and equine rehab specialists, it supports faster recovery from musculoskeletal injuries and helps performance horses return to training sooner.
-
Subzero therapy uses pressurized CO₂ to deliver targeted cold treatment to specific areas such as the hock, stifle, pastern, and fetlock. This therapy helps reduce pain, improve range of motion, and support faster recovery from equine injuries.
-
An equine water treadmill provides low-impact conditioning and rehabilitation by using water resistance and buoyancy to support the horse’s body during movement. It helps improve strength, cardiovascular fitness, joint mobility, and recovery from injury.
-
Equine somatic massage focuses on the horse’s nervous system and fascia to release deep tension patterns stored in the body. This therapy supports relaxation, improved movement, and better body awareness for both rehabilitation and performance horses.
-
An equine solarium combines infrared heat therapy with a gently shifting vibration floor to relax muscles, stimulate circulation, and support recovery. The heat helps warm and loosen soft tissues while the vibration encourages circulation and muscle activation.
-
Learn how PEMF therapy supports circulation, cellular repair, and muscle relaxation in horses.
Understand proper coil placement and treatment areas for effective sessions.
Training includes safety guidelines, session timing, and best practices for different conditions.
You will also learn when PEMF is most beneficial for recovery, maintenance, and performance support.
