This program provides equine rehabilitation certification training in Oklahoma, focusing on modern horse therapy techniques used in professional recovery programs.
During the training program, participants will learn to safely operate advanced equine rehabilitation equipment including laser therapy, shockwave, water treadmill, cryotherapy, and more.

Each training day at Advanced Equine Recovery is designed to combine education, safety, and hands-on observation of equine therapy in a real rehabilitation environment.
Participants will learn how modern equine recovery therapies are integrated into daily care for horses needing rehabilitation, performance recovery, or supportive therapy.
The focus is not just on the equipment itself, but on understanding when and why a particular therapy may be used, how it is applied safely, and how horses respond to different modalities.
What a Typical Training Day Looks Like
Morning Session: Safety, Equipment, and Therapy Foundations
The day begins with an overview of equine therapy safety protocols and treatment preparation.
Participants learn how to:

Wear comfortable clothes you can move in and appropriate footwear for working around horses. All equipment and materials are provided. The training manual is included in your tuition.

Yes, in the future we will also offer the Advanced Equine Recovery Specialist online certification for those who cannot attend in person.
